If you wish to visit Israel for a period of up to 90 days, you will not require a visa. If you are a citizen of the United States, you do not require a visa to enter Israel. While a visa is not required to enter that country, you must ensure the following are in order.

Validate passports – All travelers to Israel must have a passport that is valid for at least 90 days beyond their departure date. When departing a country, the ideal amount of validity time on your passport should be approximately 6 months.

Blank visa pages – When entering and leaving Israel, Israel, like many other countries, requires at least two blank visa pages in your passport book. This will allow any necessary stamps to be placed in your passport during your trip.

Transit Visa – A transit visa may be required when traveling to a country on a connecting flight. Countries, where your flight makes an international stop, may require a transit visa for connecting flights.

Finally, it is necessary to make sure that your current passport has enough blank pages to accommodate any stamps and stickers that may be required upon arrival. For this reason, the majority of experts recommend that you keep at least two completely blank pages in your passport.

Bear in mind that American citizens entering Israel must experience security screening. If your security screening does not meet Israeli immigration requirements, you may be asked to leave the country.
