Are you looking for your next trip to Jamaica? You will not need a Jamaica visa to visit them for up to 30 days. However, when you travel to Jamaica, you will require a valid US passport. Before your trip, you should ensure that your passport is up to date and in order.

Check the validity of a passport – All Jamaican passengers require a passport that is valid for at least 90 days after departure. When leaving a country, the ideal amount of validity time left on your passport should be around 6 months.

Blank visa pages – when you arrive and depart for Jamaica, Jamaica and many other countries need at least two blank visa pages from your passport book. This allows any stamps necessary in your passport to be stamped during your journey.

Transit Visa – A transit visa is sometimes needed on a connecting flight in a country. When connecting flights, countries, where your flight makes a stopover, may require a transit visa.

NOTE: In case of an emergency that you will have to board a commercial airplane for your return trip back to the United States, you will need to have a valid United States passport if you travel on cruise ships and you do not necessarily need to have a United States passport to go back to America. The Jamaican Consular can provide an emergency passport, but it will take approximately 2-3 days.
