Would you like to visit Lebanon? To travel to Lebanon, you will require a Lebanon visa. To receive a Lebanon visa, tourists must meet a few more requirements than in other countries.

A Lebanon visa application form, your signed United States passport with at least 6 months validity, (2) passport photographs, an itinerary of your travel, and evidence of name and residence via a driver’s license are all required documents when applying for a visa to Lebanon. You should also supply an occupational letter from your employer, which should include the applicant’s name on the employer’s letterhead, the length of stay, the reason for travel, and assurance that you will return to your current employment.

Everything listed above, as well as a business invitation or letter, should be presented if going on business. An introduction of the applicant, the nature of the business that will be undertaken on the trip, and the type of visa and desired validity period should all be included in a business invitation. The same applies to a  business letter with one additional requirement. With a business letter, you must demonstrate that you have the finances to cover your travel expenses. Both the letter and the invitation should be written on the letterhead of the firm for which you work.

NOTE: There should be no indications of previous or planned travel to Israel on your passport.

Finally, tourists who stay in Lebanon for longer than their visa allows must contact the Department of Passport and Immigration to request an exit visa before leaving the country.
