Are you planning a trip to Macau in the near future? Fortunately, a Macau visa is not required for a stay of up to 30 days in Macau. However, you will need an up-to-date passport before visiting Macau.

Information about Macau Travel & Embassy
Validity of Passport – Every traveler to Macau needs a passport valid for a minimum of 30 days after leaving Macau. After you leave Macau, your passport must have a minimum validity period of six months. When leaving a country, the ideal amount of validity time on your passport should be around six months, so you can travel to neighboring countries without any problems.

Blank visa pages – when you arrive and leave Macao, you require at least two blank visa pages in your passport book. This will allow you to get any necessary stamps in your passport while you’re on the route.

Transit Visa –Sometimes, when traveling from one country to another on an interconnected flight, a transit visa is required. Countries in which your flights stop overseas may require a transit visa to connect flights. Check with your airline about the details of your trip.

NOTE: If you intend to travel to China from Macau, you must first obtain a Chinese visa. Before you travel to Macau, we recommend that you get all the necessary visas.
