Is Panama on your list of places to visit? Thus, if you are planning on visiting Panama for tourism and business, you will not need a visa. You will need to obtain an official visa if you are visiting Panama on an official trip.  Additionally, you must ensure that your current passport is valid. Here are some recommendations to help you check if your passport is valid.

Visas and Travel Requirements in Panama
Check Passport Validity- Many countries require travelers to have a certain amount of time on their passports before they can enter. The validity period required by each country varies; some countries may require 6 months, while others may require 3 months. Check the details of your passport’s validity with the Panamanian Embassy.

Blank Visa Pages- When entering a foreign country, you must have a minimum of two (2) blank visa pages. This will allow any stamps that need to be placed in your passport book to be stamped, allowing Panama immigration officials to keep track of your stay. Travelers may encounter difficulties if their passport books do not contain enough blank visa pages.

Transit Visa-When flying abroad on an aircraft that will be stopping in another country for you to connect to another flight to your destination, you may be required to obtain a transit visa. Your airline company will have to answer any questions you have about your flight.

Applicants for an official visa must submit their original, signed US passport as well as one approved passport photograph.
