Have you been considering a trip to Poland? For up to three months, you will not need to obtain a visa to visit Poland for tourism or business. Poland is a member of the Schengen area, which means that visitors to Poland will be able to travel to other Schengen countries without obtaining a visa for up to 90 days. You must show proof of a return ticket as well as proof of sufficient funds. Before you make your travel plans, make sure your passport is up to date and in good working order. The following is a list of passport guidelines that should be followed.

Poland Visa & Travel Requirements

Validity- All Polish visitors must ensure that their passports remain valid for at least 6 months after leaving Poland. This allows you to travel to other countries bordering Poland without the problem that most countries need a minimum of 6 months passport validity before entering.

Visa Pages- When traveling abroad, your passport should have at least two (2) blank visa pages. Any visa stamps that need to be stamped in your passport book will be able to be done this way. Many problems have arisen as a result of a lack of blank visa pages in passport books.

Transit Visa- Some countries on the way to Poland that host connecting flights may require a transit visa when connecting flights in their country. Inquire with your airline about the details of your flight.

If you choose to visit a regional Passport agency, make sure you are aware of the requirements and schedule an appointment with the national Passport scheduling service by calling 1-877-487-2778. You can do so at any time of day or night. Security is strictly enforced in most Wyoming passport offices. Metal detection devices are used by federal agencies.

If you live in Gillette, Wyoming, for example, you can apply for a passport at the Campbell County District Court or the US Post Office – Gillette. Before visiting, you should call to see if an appointment is required. Check a neighboring town or city if you can’t find an acceptance facility where you live.

When applying for a passport in Wyoming, you have two options: regular passport services, which take 4 to 6 weeks, or expedited passport services, which can take 2 or 3 weeks.
